வழி மட்டும் அல்ல...
இன்று நினைவுகலால் பூத்த அழகான தோட்டம்...
நீங்கள் காட்டிய உலகத்தை விட,

உங்கள் முகத்தில் மலர்ந்த சிரிப்புதான்
இன்னும் என் மனதிர்கு பிடித்த அழகிய நினைவு...
உலகம் பொக்கிஷங்களைத் நாங்கள் தேடி அலைந்த பொழுது
நீங்கள் மட்டும் சிரித்துக்கொண்டு,
“என் பொக்கிஷம் இரண்டும் வீட்டில்தான் இருக்கு...”
என்று பெருமையாய் சொன்னீர்கள்...
நாங்கள் சிரித்த போது,
உங்கள் கண்கள் மலர்ந்தது...
எங்களின் சந்தோஷமே உங்களின் ஆனந்தமாக இருந்தது...
சைக்கிள் ஓட்டக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்த உங்களின் கரங்கள் ..
விழுந்தால் தூக்கி எழுப்பிய தைரியம் உங்கள் கரங்களும், கற்று கொடுத்த தைரியமுமே...
தவறு செய்த போதும் குறை காணாமல்,
“நீ நல்லா இருக்கியா?” என்று கேட்ட தங்களின் அக்கறை அதிகம்....
மதிப்பெண் குறைந்த நாட்களிலும்,
கோபத்தை விட இனிப்பை நீங்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த முறை ...
உலகம் என்னை அளவீடு செய்த போதும்,
“என் மகள்...” என்று மட்டும் பார்த்த உங்கள் கண்கள் ...
மதிப்பெண்களைத் தாண்டி,
வெற்றி தோல்விகளைத் தாண்டி,
என்னை நானாக நேசித்த முதல் இதயம் நீங்கள்...
தோல்வியில் நான் தலை குனிந்த போதும்,
நம்பிக்கையாய் என் பக்கம் நின்ற நிழல் நீங்கள்...
மழை வரும் முன் குடை போல...
இருள் வரும் முன் ஒளி போல...
பயம் வரும் முன் பலமாய்...
எப்போதும் என் பக்கம் நின்ற உங்களின் உறுதி ...
காலம் நகர்ந்தது...
நாங்கள் வளர்ந்தோம்...
ஆனால் இன்று வரை,

நாளை வயது உங்கள் நடையை மெதுவாக்கினாலும்,

வாழ்க்கை என்னை எவ்வளவு தூரம் கொண்டு சென்றாலும்,
உங்கள் பக்கத்தில் நடக்கும் போது மட்டும்,
நான் இன்னும் உங்கள் செல்ல மகள்தான்...
கை விடாத அன்பு...
குறையாத பாசம்...
முடிவில்லாத பாதுகாப்பு...
