Across the window facing mine,
Lives a boy who feels like moonlight.
Whenever he smiles softly,
My evenings bloom like flowers.
Since the day I saw him,
Even mirrors began to feel prettier,
As if my heart had learned
A new way to blush.
Every song I hear now
Somehow sounds like him,
And every little lyric
Whispers his name to me.
Even when the rain comes and leaves,
My eyes still wait by the window
For one tiny glimpse of him.
The moment he walks by,
My heart dances like
A tiny kite in the wind.
He always stays distant,
Like a star I can only admire,
Yet inside my thoughts
He lives closer than my heartbeat.
There may be one moon in the sky,
But near my window lives
The one who became my whole world.
